Begining Our Process Together

WHAT HAPPENS DURING THE THERAPY CONSULTATION?

The consultation, which can also be referred to as the intake session, is the  hour-long initial meeting  where you get to tell me about the current problems  and experiences  you are  having that bring you to therapy at this time.   I'll also ask you about your history, including past experiences relevant to both your mental and overall health. We discuss what you would like to get out of therapy and ways I can support you. The consultation is structured with more specific and direct questions  that I will ask , which will feel different than the ongoing sessions. This  is to allow me to  learn more information to see if we could be a good match for your needs.  During this time, we also agree on a set appointment time  that you can commit to on a weekly basis for our 45min  ongoing sessions.

Please feel free to contact me!
